2. Superb Carlsbad Cave in New Mexico
Carlsbad Caverns is a national park situated in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The cave is particularly found in Guadalupe Mountains. Carlsbad Caverns is considered as one of the most amazing natural cave in the world. The cave features huge echoing limestone referred to as Big Room.
This cave is described as the seventh largest chamber in the world and third largest in North America. The cave also features beautiful water forces with array of travertine and stalactite formations are seen from several accessible angles. The cave also features the king’s palace, the Balloon Ballroom and the Chocolate High. Scientist says that Carlsbad Caverns was carved out using strong sulphuric acid from gas and oil deposits.
