In recent times, there has been endangering of one of the famous Hawaiian bird species by hunting and the most recent reentry- introduced species from other parts of the world. Nene is the name of the Hawaiian beautiful goose. The nene bird is a relative of the famous Canada goose. In the Hawaiian culture, ‘i’iwi is at times referred as the Hawaiian honeycreeper, while the koa’e kea represents a beautiful white-tailed tropicbird. The nene is so famous and one that has been attracting tourists from across the world. Their endangering has not done any justice to tourism as soon this attraction will come to an end.
