6. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs
Written by Judi Barrett, this story was published in 1978. The story is based on a gentle old grandfather he reminds his grandchildren about a town named Chewandswallow, a town that does not have grocery stores, but the weather comes changes with delicious foods for three times a day 1.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner. The weather offers ice-cream through snow, juice through rain, and finally it provides hamburgers through the wind. However, when the weather is bad, it provides people with horrible things such as pea soup fog, soggy green beans and brussels sprouts cakes. This is one of the stories for kids that was loved and still continues to be loved by many children.
