7. Lotus Cortina Car
The lotus company collaborated with another well known company, the Ford to manufacture this Cortina Mk 1. This super-saloon was produced between 1963 and 1966. They developed the 1,557 cc engine which later developed 105bhp. The lotus also fitted it with a close-ratio gearbox and new suspension components. Bonnet, Lightweight alloy door and boot panels were all fixed. Like all other lotus cars, the lotus Cortina Mk 1 was also painted white with a greenish stripe.
